You get what you pay for. We stay here every time we come to Malakoff but it's not a great place. Some of the issues we've had are missing light bulbs, broken shower head, and mildew in the fridge.
Staff is very great. They work with me every time ive stayed on any issue. Rooms r spacious. Sometimes WiFi is not the best but usually is better if u ask them to reset it which they gladly do. Great hotel. Always stay here when visiting family near Cedar Creek. Great hotel!!!
I loved this place. I stayed for 1 month, nice clean rooms, no signs of rodents or anything else. Almost everyone was nice and polite. Met some new friends there and we bbq almost every night. I highly recommend this place!
Room was clean. Rooms have been updated since my stay a year ago. Friendly staff. Good place to stay. Easy to find when followed maps directions. Vending machines on site. Really nice grill and outdoor area for cooking. Would definitely stay here again.

I was on a 2 week working vacation all over Texas this new year. This Motel was a very pleasant surprise! I stayed in 12 Motels in 13 days, it was the cleanest and freshest, not to mention how good the price was! A Motel like this is worth talking about!! Thanks !
Peter and Countryside Inn were just what we needed for 7 weeks. The weekly rate was very fare and worth it. They cleaned weekly after my guys would check out. The Mexican food place next door was very good with the food we had. It’s a fair place to stay in Malakoff, but I do advise against any smoking rooms. AC worked and rooms smelled clean. Thanks
Room was clean and neat. The light over the sink was out and we killed a roach when we first got in. Bring your own pillows. These were little more than flat pieces of foam. The mattress was a smidge softer than the bedding displays in a department store. For the price though it was good enough.
We stayed during the eclipse and were very pleased with the service and with the rooms. Management did NOT price gouge as many in the area did, they made sure our room was cleaned and they were very nice. Absolutely would stay again and recommend to friends and family.
